Care guide
The right care extends the life of every piece. Pick the fabric you're looking for — each is paired with our recommended routine.
Satin
Hand-wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not wring. Iron on low temperature, on the reverse side, while still slightly damp.
Silk
Dry clean only. If hand-washing, use cold water and a silk-specific detergent. Avoid direct sunlight when drying.
Velvet
Brush gently to remove dust. Steam to refresh — never iron directly. Dry-clean for deeper soiling.
Wool
Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a wool-friendly detergent. Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble. Store folded with cedar to prevent moths.
Cotton
Machine-washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or air dry. Iron on the reverse side at medium temperature.
Denim
Wash inside-out at 30°C with similar colors. Avoid tumble drying to preserve fit and indigo. Steam to refresh between washes.
Leather
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Treat with a leather conditioner two to three times a year. Avoid water exposure and direct heat.
Linen
Machine-wash at 30°C. Linen softens with each wash. Iron while damp on a high setting for a crisp finish, or embrace its natural drape.
General tips
- Read the care label sewn inside each piece — it overrides any general advice.
- Avoid heat in any form (hot water, tumble dryer, radiator) — it shortens fibre life.
- Fold knitwear; never hang. Hanging stretches the shoulders permanently.
- Treat stains immediately with a soft cloth and cold water — never rub.
